Meet Our Team:

Marketing

Directors

Valerie Yeh

Valerie Yeh is a junior in high school and one of the marketing directors at TSP. She also enjoys reading and listening to music in her free time! Valerie joined TSP over a year ago because she was passionate about helping others in the STEM community. TSP's goal of inspiring students while incorporating mental health care struck Valerie's interest and she decided that she wanted to be part of an organization that gave back to students, while also helping communities grow and thrive.

Kalpita Gangwar

Kalpita is a high school student who enjoys reading fantasy novels, creative writing, singing, crocheting, and putting far too much pressure on herself to be perfect. She joined TSP as Marketing Director because she aspires to achieve a career in the STEM field (particularly in medicine), and adores creating content for social media or determining how best to increase engagement for a company or organization. She is extremely excited for the term to come and to work with the amazing foundation known as The Stemistry Project.

Anika Nangia

Anika joined The Stemistry Project because it gives her the opportunity to support upcoming generations in the STEM field, just as she has always been encouraged. Living in Silicon Valley, Anika feels that everything is centered around technology and the possibilities of such technology are limitless. TSP's mission of spreading awareness of the many different STEM fields, as well as how to balance mental health, inspires her.

Interns

Ella Liang

Ella Liang is a bay area high school sophomore. She has been competitively dancing since she was 4 and enjoys baking, fashion, and music. TSP caught her attention due to the incredible opportunities to connect with STEM professors and their work with mental health which is a really important move in STEM as pressure on students continues to increase.

Nikki Ma

Nikki is a current 2nd year UCLA student majoring in Physiological Sciences. She loves to be active and go to the gym as well as read, bake sweets, and hang out with friends. She wanted to join TSP to help widen the range in which students with an interest in STEM could find resources and connections to further nurture that interest and passion.

Nina Ude

Nina Ude is 16 years old and a Junior in high school. She loves watching movies and reviewing them on Letterboxd, and she leads her school's black student union and robotics club. Nina joined TSP because she is passionate about educating young people about opportunities they might not have known about without the work of organizations like TSP to provide information in a palatable and accessible way.
